The organization calls on governments and citizens to take appropriate measures as soon as possible . Japan Post also announced that it will invest about 100 billion yen in the construction of a blockchain-based drug transport network, including the purchase of transportation vehicles and the construction of a warehouse capable of temperature control. In the process, Intel will provide sensors such as sensors to Japan Post, and Accenture will help Japan Post build the system.

Specifically, Japan Post will affix wireless automatic identification tags (RFID) to medicines and install sensors in containers that can read ambient temperature and location information. Special equipment for RFID and sensor information will be installed in factories, pharmaceutical companies, warehouses, and transportation vehicles. That is to say, the data of pharmaceutical products at each stage will be automatically obtained and uploaded to the cloud to share the transportation status.

Japan Post said that the logistics supervision system of blockchain technology can save time and expenses of manual inspection at various stages, thereby effectively reducing costs. RFID can also record anomalies. If an abnormal situation such as RFID is replaced, its corresponding pharmaceutical products will not appear in the transaction channel.
