RFID technology applied to substations

On July 14, the 500 kV substation of Jingmen Xincheng Jingmen was successfully put into operation. The heart located in the southeastern power grid of Fuzhou can meet the needs of safe power supply for regional power grids. At the same time, it can actively eliminate clean green energy such as wind energy and nuclear energy in the southeast coast of Fujian, and improve the reliability of power supply in Changle Binhai New City and Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone.

The Jingmen 500 kV substation is a provincial key project. It is located in Jingmen Village, Changle Gulin Town. It is a supporting power grid project for Binhai New City. Construction started in November 2017. During the construction, State Grid Fujian Electric Power Co., Ltd. combined with the ubiquitous power Internet of Things construction, in accordance with the intelligent substation construction standards, the use of data acquisition function (RFID) PAD, integrated smart street lights, smart power boxes and other new intelligent technology.
