MCMC Malaysia issues RFID certification requirements again

As MCMC (Malaysia Communications and Multimedia Commission) keeps receiving complaints about RFID causing interference to mobile networks, MCMC recently re-issued RFID certification requirements and tightened the certification requirements for RFID products.

All applications must meet the following requirements

1. If the above requirements are not implemented, a fine may be incurred. For the specific amount, see the official regulations below.

2. SIRIM will also release a new announcement about verification / conformance testing requirements soon, and we will update and inform you at that time.
