Hang Seng Bank will launch NFC-based mobile cash withdrawal service in early December

Hang Seng Bank announced that it will launch a new mobile cash withdrawal service in early December. Customers can simply place their mobile phones on the ATM's near field communication device (NFC) or scan a QR code on the ATM screen Easily withdraw cash at approximately 600 Hang Seng ATMs in Hong Kong. Hang Seng provided mobile phone withdrawal services using NFC technology for the first bank in Hong Kong.

The new service is easy to use, and customers can set up withdrawal instructions through the Hang Seng Personal Mobile Banking Service App, and then withdraw cash at the nearest Hang Seng ATM. Customers can choose to withdraw cash using QR Code or NFC. The daily withdrawal limit will be included in the small transfer limit, up to 10,000 yuan per day.

At the initial stage of the service launch, all Hang Seng ATMs support QR Code withdrawals, and more than half of them will support both QR Code and NFC withdrawals. As of the first half of 2020, NFC withdrawals will be extended to cover all ATMs. After withdrawing cash, customers will receive mobile SMS and email notifications.
