Incheon University of Korea attached RFID tags to 500,000 books for automatic book management

Incheon University in South Korea uses high-frequency RFID tags and ECO's library automation solution to implement automatic book management.

The introduction of the new RFID library automatic solution, the circulation of books is faster. Students can use self-service terminals to complete borrowing and returning books, and use credit cards to complete book transactions, eliminating the need for traditional library cards.

This solution also helps employees reduce the time spent on book circulation and inventory management, which can allocate time to more important tasks and provide better services.

At the beginning of the project, the library will label 500,000 textbooks and teaching supplies. After the successful implementation, the system will be extended to the library of the university's Jemulpo campus.
