RFID helps brand operations create a completely transparent supply chain

RFID solutions company Nedap announced a partnership with stichd, a first-class brand partner of Puma Group's swimwear, tights and other commodities. Stichd has produced and sold products for Tommy Hilfiger, PUMA, Levi's, HEAD, Calvin Klein, Mercedes, Ferrari, Porsche and McLaren.

Nedap's RFID-based inventory management software platform! D Cloud will help stichd achieve complete item traceability from the logistics warehouse in Tilburg, Netherlands to the brand's online and physical retail channels.

RFID will bring transparent, reliable and actionable data to complete product visibility to achieve the best replenishment solution. This ensures the availability of the various products of the brand, thereby improving the profitability of retailers and stichd.

For this project, Stichd will use Levis source-labeled items and products from brands such as Puma, Tommy Hilfiger and HEAD, which will be labeled in Stichds logistics warehouse.

This ensures that all products enter the store with a unique identifier (EPC) and can be sold at any time. The RFID hardware in this project was provided by Zebra, and the RFID tag was provided by Avery Dennison.
