Sichuan launches the new ETC intelligent OBU equipment for the freeway

In order to further improve the "smart speed" construction level, recently, the Sichuan provincial traffic and transportation department monitoring and settlement center combined with industrial and Commercial Bank of Sichuan, Chengdu Telecom launched the expressway intelligent OBU equipment.

Compared with the traditional terminal equipment and the wireless transmission technology of 4G data and information, the new intelligent OBU has realized the whole vehicle WiFi coverage and the real time push of highway traffic information. The "car end • cloud" integrated operation platform was set up. The function of the train recorder and travel navigation was deeply integrated, and the multi scene application of ETC was expanded. It greatly facilitates the convenience and efficient travel of ETC owners.

After 6 months of testing, the intelligent OBU equipment has been issued to social users, and users can apply for the application only to the designated telecommunications and industrial and commercial bank outlets.
